study center

Expected opening January 8, 2025

In the study center, everyone in education on Ærø can meet, study, hold networking meetings and enjoy a cup of coffee in the hall or a meal in the Navigation canteen.

All students/trainees and apprentices have the opportunity to use the study center during their education after a short introduction. You might need some of the digital facilities and Wifi or a quiet space for reading, or just to meet with others studying.

The Study Center is also the place where Campus Ærø’s events and networks are held.

Reach out to get an introduction to the study center – there are ongoing intro days – or drop by when we have a study café event.

The study center was built by Arkitektfirmaet Havsteen Mikkelsen and opened in 2011.
The renovation was designed by architect Christina Kjerrulf and decorated by Scenograf Luise Midtgaard, www.luisemidtgaard.dk based on workshops with pupils, students and teachers on Ærø in February 2024. The interior design and remodeling is financed by the AP Møller Foundation and EU funds.

Canteen and coffee break

All users of the study center have access to the Navigation School canteen. You can buy a cup of coffee for 5 kr or a pot for 20 kr in Marstal Navigation School’s canteen, which is open from 8am – 8pm every day.

Between 12-13 you can choose from a salad bar or dish of the day – Campus has its own table in the canteen at Marstal Navigationsskole. There is also a microwave to heat up any food you bring with you
